Circulation
The circulatory system carries all the nutrients - proteins, carbohydrates, fats,
vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and other phytonutrients - from your digestive system and
oxygen from your lungs to the trillions of cells in the body. It also distributes
secretions that are produced by your liver and endocrine glands, such as enzymes and
hormones. The heart is made up of valves, chambers and muscle that requires an astonishing
amount of oxygen. It is the "pump" that moves the blood through the vessels.
These blood vessels which are the arteries, arterioles, and the small capillaries carry
blood from the heart to all the organs. Vessels that carry blood back to the heart are
called veins. The walls of the capillaries are only one cell thick so nutrients and oxygen
can transfer from the bloodstream to be carried away. Good circulation is one of the most
important factors for maintaining optimum health. If your cells don't receive the
nutrients, oxygen, and hormones they need, how can they function? The blood vessels must
stay open enough to permit efficient blood to flow. Several factors can work against
healthy circulation and one important factor is the vasoconstriction brought about by such
factors as stress and stimulants such as caffeine, certain drugs, and nicotine. Plaque can
also reduce flexibility of the arterial walls and size of the opening.
NO (Nitric Oxide)
The name "Nitric Oxide" sounds like a toxic chemical, but it is a natural
substance that is a combination of Nitrogen and Oxygen. The body makes "NO" from
arginine, an amino acid component of proteins that we eat. Researchers refer to it as
"ADNO", an abbreviation for "Arginine Derived Nitric Oxide."
"ADNO" is used by the body to support the normal vasodilation - the process
which keeps the arteries relaxed and open. This is also necessary for the maintenance of
healthy blood pressure. If levels of "NO" are too low, the arteries may not open
enough. This scenario could require the heart to work much harder. Think about trying to
force the same volume of water for instance, through a small pipe as opposed to a larger
soft rubber hose. The large size of the hose plus its flexibility, would make it a lot
easier for the water to flow. The pressure would not have to be so high. This is an
example of just what happens in the body.
Arginine
Arginine is often referred to as L-arginine, which is the natural L (or levo-rotatory)
form. One of the best ways to maintain "NO" levels is to make sure enough
arginine is consumed. CIRCULEX was formulated to provide L-arginine plus other synergistic
nutrients to help ensure adequate levels of NO. Arginine is a component of many foods,
such as milk, meat, chicken and fish and has many other health-supporting benefits. It is
essential in processes involving neurotransmitters, which carry messages between brain
cells. It is a free radical scavenger and supports immune function, the maintenance of
normal viscosity of the blood, the relation of blood vessels, and blood flow to the male
and female sex organs.
HGH
Another exciting activity of L-arginine is its support of the normal release of HGH (Human
Growth Hormone). HGH is thought by experts to fight aging and help maintain lean body
mass. This benefit has been realized by body builders and those interested in good muscle
tone for some time. L-arginine is totally natural, not a hormone, yet supports normal body
processes.
1998 Nobel Prize In Medicine
Arginine is quickly emerging as a very important nutrient. Researchers are making
marvelous discoveries about its role in supporting health. Over 10,000 scientific papers,
which document the benefits of "NO" have been published in numerous scientific
journals around the world. They include such prestigious publications as the Journal of
the American Medical Association, Lancet, The New England Journal of Medicine, British
Medical Journal, Journal of Cardiovascular Pharmacology, Journal of the American College
of Cardiology and numerous others. The most prestigious scientific award of all - THE
NOBEL PRIZE FOR MEDICINE - was awarded to three American Researchers for their pioneering
work with "NO" in 1998. Rarely has there been such extensive research completed
on a natural substance like L-arginine.
The Whole Body
CIRCULEX supports healthy circulation everywhere. This could be of most value to the
organs that require the most blood flow, usually because they need the most oxygen. That
would include the brain, heart and sex organs.
PHYTOZYME BASE
CIRCULEX is formulated in the proprietary Life Plus PhytoZyme base, which contains a
unique blend of over thirty natural concentrates of numerous valuable phytonutrients from
plants.
When you take Life Plus products, you have the added benefit of receiving the numerous
health supporting phytochemicals and other micronutrients contained in them.
HOW TO TAKE CIRCULEX
DIRECTIONS: Men and Women: Take from 2 to 4 tablets morning and evening. This
provides 3000 mg to 6000 mg of L-arginine per day and is the range usually recommended.
CIRCULEX is packaged in bottles of 120 tablets as most people begin with four tablets per
day and 120 is one month's supply. Take CIRCULEX with a full glass of liquid and swallow
tablets whole-do not chew or hold tablets in the mouth. Contact your physician before
taking this or any product containing arginine if you are taking anti-depressants or other
prescription drugs. CAUTION: Arginine may increase sperm count. Concerned men should
use only with caution.
